I just got back from that place with the jumps, and wow, the DVX jumps REALLY nice, even when I was landing on the flat. I didn't take the huge jump, but I took one that was longer and shorter, and was nailing it pretty darn good everytime by the end! I'll post a vid in a few. In the meantime, here's a pic:

Finally got one yesterday. It's an '87. It ain't pretty but it's mine! Question, the original engine is seized but he threw in a 230LE motor. It won't bolt up and I'd rather have a manual clutch anyhoo. Can I swap out the internals to the 230S? If not we'll rebuild.

http://i75.photobucket.com/albums/i2...kcity/quad.jpg as far as the engine goes, i'd use the E crank and topend on the S bottom, if everything is good with the E. i know the topends will swap, but im not quite 100% sure about the crank. good luck and welcome to the forum! |
