Default King Quad Air Filter Question

I don't really understand the Twin Air system. I talked to my dealer and he say that the Twin Air doesn't come with a "internal cage". as per dealer the only one that comes with the cage is the power flow kit. seams like I read on here somewhere that Twin Air doesn't recommend use the filter without cage on the King. I look at some pics that someone had I think it was Dev Ash and he has the cage with his Twin Air filter. the dealer said that if you use the one with the cage that the air box had to be modified which I don't want to do. does the cage just drop in or do you have to mount it to the bottom of the box. the part number that I found on the Twin Air site is #153915c for $79.95 and the pic shows an air box, filter, cage and cover. I guess the air box is in the pic just for information? this kit doesn't come with another air box does it? anyone that has one of these kits I would like to ask how is the fit and function? I need to get one ASAP and I'm not sure if the is the right part number that I need. I think I am just gonna order it from the Twin Air site I guess that will be the fastest. any other ideas as to who might have one in stock and I will just upgrade the shipping. but again I do not want to modify the air box or replace it. any help would be appreciated.

Default King Quad Air Filter Question

I've got the twin air setup on my king, i don't rememder the part number but all i did was get my dealer to order it. It was simple to install, all you have to do is pull your old paper filter out and put your new foam filter over the supplied cage, remember to oil it and lastly slide it into place. It fit just like the stock one, no modifications needed.

Default King Quad Air Filter Question

GC! Rocky mountian atv has them for less than you can buy them from Twin Air for. You will have to get the correct part # from Twin air and call Rocky mountian and arder it. Male them look it up if they say thay don't show a listing. Order the oil and cleaner also.
Oil the filter, squeeze out all the excess oil and let it dyr for 24 hours . Slide the oiled filter over the supplied cage and put them into the air box. then using the factory buterfly bolt secure the supplied twin air lid. I think when i checked the kit was 69.95 us from Rocky mountian.
I hope this is some help.
