Well we picked the quad up Friday, then Saturday we took it down to Little Sahara in Waynoka, this is a good quad, I like the smooth power it offers and it had no problems doing what I wanted it to, eventhough it's not mine. My fiancee rode it and the only problem she had was the shift seemed to act up every once in a while. For some reason it didn't want to go into neutral soetimes. It worked when I rode it, but she had problems so i don't know if she just isn't doing something right or if there really is a problem with it. Anybody else have and shifting problems with this bike.

I read some where awhile back that because the frame wasn't real sturdy and it would flex a little bit some people had trouble with the seat coming off. But there are two people who live down my way who own z's and they haven't had that problem. I do know that the 2006 Z's they added gussets to the frame to keep it from cracking and to keep the seat from coming off, so it must of been an issue. Jamie Mace

This keeps the subframe from flexing and losing the seat.

To clarify this for me, the 03 is the only one having the frame cracking issue?

Well to add to the list. The 03 had a 2 bolt sliding block chain adjuster. I have heard of them seizing up and breaking, causing major annoyances. In my case i have an 04 with an single bolt style adjuster, well the 4 bolt holes on top of the swing arm got ovaled out and caused my rear end to keep jumping out of place, after the fatal ride, my chain jumped and binded between my sprocket and frame, destroying my entire tranny. $1200, later it will be terrorizing the streets of braxton county WV. So watch that swing arm.
