Default Clutch Kit for 700 Kingquad

Just wanted to pass along the HUGE difference a clutch kit made on my 05 Kingquad. I have 26" Mudlites and its as quick as a factory bike. Added Highlifter shocks(factory ones are very weak). I now have the perfect bike for what I do.

My local dealer installed it for around $100. Like 2 hours labor. I wanted to do it myself but some special tools seemed to be required...plus I didnt want to void my ext warranty. If u have large tires it will be the best single performance mod u do! runs like it has stock tires on it.

So it was only 2 hours worth of work at $50 an hour? That's good news because I'm having the exact same thing done this Wednesday at the exact same rate.

I installed the dalton kit also....it works great. The tools are easy to make yourself. You can buy the parts to make the tools at a local lowes/home depot for $15-$20. The dalton is very easy to install.

Let me know how you enjoy it! Love my bike! Best of luck.
My voltage regulator did go out on me...if you smell eggs like a catalytic converter going bad...pull your seat.....if you shut the bike off your stuck...get home fast!!

Okay I just ordered the EPI clutch kit for large tires along with a twinair filter. I have upgraded to 27" XTRs on 14" ITPs. My question to you is how much power will I get back and will I lose topend? What am I to expect? Many thanks.

Hey, I'm new here but have been reading this for awhile. I put the 27" ITP's on mine and the EPI clutch kit but I did not get the performanc some of you speak of. My cousin and I both have KQ's and were dead even before, He not only still get's me out of the hole, but still continues to walk away from me. I'm 180, He's 200 lbs. Whats going on?

With 27" ITPs (Mudlites or 589s - ?), you are probably just returning the power to stock form, which isn't bad.
