bumpers
#5
The front one on my King is from Kimpex. And the more I look at it, the more I am disapointed by the quality . I was new to the sport and I listen to too many peoples.
In my book those bumpers ( all brand ) are almost useless, they are attached to the front rack and by 2 small bracket at the bottom. I can't imagine how this flimsy design can protect my machine. I should have kept the 150.00 Can in my pocket instead.
I made my rear bumper with hvy tubing.
In my opinion you need the rear one to save your muffler, at the front you are already protected without the need to add anything

The best bumper on the market is the one you can create yourself. I had a bumper custom designed, with my race number laser-cut into a removable, anodized insert. The company who did it, Tarantula Performance Racing, will do custom designs, sponsor logos, numbers, etc. for you.
