David,

All I am asking for is for someone to tell me what the standard settings are. Seems like a lot of people are just here to get information instead of give it.

As far as the 250S the body work will fit perfectly. I bought some tabs to use as mounts to the original frame. I just honestly havent had the time to mess with it the past couple of weeks. Way too much going on.

sweet i am thinking of getting the whole set of blue/white plastics to fit on mine but you said in another post that the gas tank doesn't fit?? would all the plastics fit around the 250s gas tank? i am very interested in this, i have been really busy also but march break is coming up so i will have 5 days off and i am hoping that i would be able to get a set of plastics so i can start redoing my bike from frame up

-Thanks for all your help man you are very helpfull

David,

The stock Z400 tank wont work because it sits on top of the Z400 frame. The stock 250S tank will work! If you notice the bulge at the bottom of the tank it fits the contour of the Z400 plastic perfectly! My digital camera took a dump on me or I would fire off some photos.

Thanks for the Link but I would like to know what the STOCK Suzuki specs are as well. I have no starting point as the PO has the suspension so stiff I dont know if he monkeyed with the damping adjustments as well.

the rear suspension spring preload is adjustable. this adjustment is preformed by changing spring length
standard preload is 233mm (9.17") thats the total length of the spring while on the shock with no load on it
maximum(softest)238mm(9.37")
minimum (stiffest) 228.5mm (9.0")
rebound adjustment is 16 clicks out, lower adjustment by shock link
compression adjustment is 2 turns out, upper at top of shock
the front shocks are set at 3 for standard
this is how the shocks come from the factory
