z400 swingarm

Default z400 swingarm

im the proud owner of an 2004 suzuki z400 with mild mods when i was greasing all my a arms i decided to grease my swing arm pin but it was rusted in any ideas about getting it out

Squirt some break free down into it, oh and use a BIG hammer!!


Suzuki really skimps on the lube, it's a great idea to re-grease it!!

Definetly hit up the swinger bolt, it sound's like it needs it.

if its never been out it will take a while to get it loose, like what was said before suzuki doesnt lube much.
I took a long screwdriver and stuck it in the end of it and hit it with a very large hammer till it srarted to move
then I sprayed wd40 on it and hit it bace in and then started over the other way till it moved enough to get a large pair of visegrips on it and worked it back and forth till it came out. when I put it back I wire brushed the bolt and greased the hell out of it when it went back
