Default Tie Rods Z400

I had to replace the bushing sleeve on the steering colum. Inorder to do this I had to disconnect the tie rods. After putting it all back together I can't seem to get the steering stright. pulls to one side or the other. What is the best way to align the tie rod's. Thank's in advance.

What quad are you talking about? if its the Z400 you need to put the handlebars straight and then put 160 lbs on the seat and then
you measure the distance across the front of the front tire and then the distance from the backside of the front tire
at the same point that you used on the front side, the front side should be no more than 1/4"inch smaller than the back measurement
and make sure you dont have the stem turned around backwards. the tierods connect in the back by the oil tank

Ok i did it just like you said. With the exception of the 160lbs. on the seat i'll try that and see what happen's. Thank's Muckey.
