hey, i am decidin between a raptor or a 400z, i ride fast trails and i love goin fast period, so i dont know wich machine to get, i mean i know this is a suzuki forum, and all,,,,but i cant get much of a answer from yamaha...so i figured i would ask on the suzuki forum....give me a honest answer, i dont want u to say 400z b/c of this beon suzuki and al...lol...but i want somtin that blasts out of the hard woods and corners, i want some reliable, and handles well...along wiht speed..

What year model of each? Ive ridden both, and ide say if you were going with new ones it would be a tough decision for me, especially since the 660 is now 700 efi. I would most likely go with the raptor. If older models, actually 660 or z400 i would go with the z400. I personally just like the way the bike rides, handles, runs and all. it is a good complete package. and with a couple mods it really opens up.on the 700 vs the 400 i said ide probably go 700, but i havnt actually ridden a 700 just the 660, and for me in that choice it would be z400. Take both riding, get a feal for them and pick what you like best, i think they are both good bikes.
