buy a king quad

Default buy a king quad

hey I need your help: I'm looking at a 2005 king quad. are there any draw backs or issues with these atv. how good are they. I'm looking at a 2003 Girzzly but I like the King quad more . Thanks

Just get yourself a different air filter right from the start, before you even ride it. The stock ones are too good at letting really fine dust into the intake, potentially causing motor problems down the line, even rebuilds. If you're buying a new one or from a dealership, tell them to throw a Twin Air Filter in with the sale. I thought my dealership was behind on information, and even THEY made me aware that a new filter is a necessity. Use some kind of grease at the bottom and make sure it's sealed up real good there. Other than that, have at it. With the price of the Bombardier being so high, I truly think this machine is the best bang for the buck.
