my mates gonna b getting a banshee. how do both quads compare to each other standard. whats best at certain events??

 

a banshee will **** on a z400 no problem!!!!
maybe not in the trail but in everything else.

 

I think it would be a good race but those banshee sure pack alot of punch.I would have to think the banshee would win.

 

The Z would probablly get it on bottom end but the banshee would definately get it on top. The Z would be the best trail riding quad but the banshee is fun to get in the open and let it rip.

 

As far as a drag banshee all the way no queston. Track the z would hold its own if not win. The z will out handle the banshee.

 

These two are on opposite sides of the sport quad spectrum. The Banshee is fast, and it doesn't take a whole lot to make it REAL fast. Of course you can spend a ton of coin and just get insane. Where the Z quads shine is suspension/chassis/handling. You will have all day comfort over him, although I predict you may come to fear the 2 stroke twin wail.

 

89exrider and scotter86 have it right. thats why i have a 05kfx, i trail ride and just have a blast riding my kfx and yes ive done some work to it(alot of mods for z/kfx). its pretty quik! i have fun with 450's!!! i know its pretty quik but a little work to a 450 or raptor or ds and they will still beat me on a strait away. thats why i bought a shee pretty cheap($500). know i have a good platform to start building a drag only bike. no its not getting streched or 405 kitted. im going to do some moddest mods and make it pretty quik.
what im trying to say is if your looking for just speed go shee if you do alot of other riding go z.

you may think of going yfz. they ride alittle ruff for me(think they fixed the seats this year) but great power and alot of mods.

 

in britain it rains alot and in winter it muddy. ive heard that banshees are rubbish in the mud so ill just have to show my mate whos king during the winter and hope that his banshee is wrecked in the summer lolololol

I agree. and its the last year for the shee and 2 strokes are fading away. I know guys out here that have spent $10 grand on the motor alone
so if you want speed banshee all the way. if you want comfort then its the Z400
