i got my 13:1 piston and cams in, now im fine tuneing. runs great and has a lot more torque.? is i think im a little rich on my pilot but on top i feel like it should have more. it feels kind of flat on top if you know what i mean. alot of down low torque, doesnt feel like it pulls as hard on top. could i be running a little rich on top? or maybe lean?

im running mukuni jetts. 180 main. i have a 175 and 185 im going to try,any .02 will help. when i hold the throttle it doesnt pop like its lean, and when i put the choke on it doesnt do anything to help. that kind of sounds like im running rich doesn't it? its hard to tell from exhaust pipe, im running c12 so it burns lighter.

 

what does the spark plug look like? if its black in color then its to rich
I ran a 172 main but I have a keihen fcr on mine. not sure how much difference there is between to to carbs

 

just got dyna jet kit. what jets should i run with my set up?

 

What setting they sugest is a good starting point. I have yet to see on be perfect on thier settings. Like it was said check your plug and go from there. I run full throttle and check then low to mid and check and then 1/4 throttle and check.

 

a friend bought it for me, i put in a 175 mukini and it ran great!! im still rich on my pilot , i may just use the needle out of the kit. the 13.1 piston and cams made a big improvement. i think im done working on it now,its time to get my banshee running. thanks for all the help.
