Lowering a 91 250R
#4
For the rear, I gonna let u in on my secret. I do flat Track racing here, and to lower the rear I use a Banshee front shock. Works great, gives a lil bit travel with alot of lowering. For the front I assume either you can build a lowereing kit, i.e. shorter shocks, or moving the top mounting place, but remember thatthe tie rods will have to have some modifications done

Thanks for your secret..I'll have to look into that. Looks like for the front I may fab up some shock mount extensions off of the original location. Who is Nac's and do they have a web site? Thanks BOZ

Nacs is a company that makes and sells quad parts. Here is there hyper link [URL]/http://www.nacsracing.com/[URL]. Hope your plans turn out good, what is it your exactly doing, drag racing or flattracking? What kind of mods on your machine?

Thanks for the link. I'm putting together a street racing quad. It has the following mods... Duncan Racing engine, Paul Turner high rev pipe w/Fatboy silencer, Boyesen Reeds, 39mm carb, uni air filter (in the process of making a custom aluminum air box), Works rear shock, Duncan Racing cool head, Weisco piston, in the process of making Chromoly tube control arms (wider than stock)The bike runs on 112 oct fuel and Maxima 927 oil. I had not touched the quad in about a year than just got the urge to race it again but a little more serious this time out! This thing is a blast to ride. May put a NOS kit on it..undicided. BOZ
