Default This IS Weird

K i just bought myself a Suzuki Ltz400 2005 a few month's back and i went to bring it in for a service check on the whole ATV, but when i brought in they knew i change my oil before by checking it also, I gave it a new K'N oil filter when i changed the oil and they said they can't do anymore because they said i wrecked my Warrenty by using a high performance oil filter. Is this true what they said or a buch of BULL$hit. Help.

Sounds like bs to me, but I have heard that KN filters let too large of particles in the motor.

That is kinda BS, but I have heard the same thing abt K&N's not being the best oil filters, not so much on ATV's but everyone says their car/truck filters suck.

that is BS.... but it's really up to who is writting up the service ticket...

That is why I NEVER buy the extended warranty because the dealer will try and get out of standing behind it at all cost...

When I was negotiating the price on my LTR last month they wanted to stick me with an $850 extended warranty.. When I said no they tried to up the set up fee on me... that became a sticking point... when I told them that I intended to race it they said that would void the warranty... so I was like 'Exactly my point'... they wouldn't even throw in the darn $40 cherrybomb. I got bent over I know buy I wanted the first LTR they had...

Now they have 4 in the showroom.... they can't chock on them for all I care...
