Sorry to hear about the diff. How did it get busted? Mine busted with about 300 miles on it. Dealer says that I probably pressed the 4wd button going to fast. I say the thing just busted.
Anyways they replaced it under warranty. They also said it would cost around 1,500.00 labor and parts if it wasn't still under warranty. Good luck!

i dont think i hit the 4wd button, looks like i busted a tooth off the gear and there is no room for that to happen.i was riding along after bieng in 4wd to get out of a ditch and the front end locked up on me in a creek not in 4wd ,it would back up but wouldnt go forward.then i put it in 4wd and the famous "ping" and it looks like about 850 bucks to replace it. too much metal in every thing to try to rebuild it.....still looking but i'm gonna hafta order on soon.

I read your post and after looking at your sig and pic's maybe those 27" tires are putting stress on your front diff. But they look good I'm thinking about getting 25" Mud Lite XL's, 3800KM plus on my stock dunlops.

actually i have changed those tire out to 26" swamp foxes and itp black wheels, but i have to agree with you, even the swamp foxes are as agressive or more agressive than the mud lights. any how i'm still gonna sell it after i get the new crap installed...

my front diff busted also this past weekend. it only has 450 miles on it. its at the shop now and its under warranty so i hope they cover it. sounds like to me suzuki needs a recall on the weak front diifs. thats the first trouble ive had out of mine so im going to keep it for now but if it happens again its as good as sold.

Are you saying that suzuki can't build a ute to handle the bigger wheels/tire combinations?
