Theres a small allen head bolt under the exhaust tip. Remove that bolt and the insert will slid out. You will probably have to use some force to get it out but it will come. Don't twist it, just pry it straight out. Let me know if this works.

Umm something tells me it's 7mm but I'll check for sure tomorrow before work.

Vinsons don't use a Krizman (sp?) (like a fan) type? I figured they would use that type & not a screen. The screen types need to be cleaned, yes, but the Krizman types usually don't.
