Hi i was just wondering if the gear shift has to be raised for accommodating mx boots? Thanks in advance.

 

the shift need to be level with the footpegs . or when you jump you will land on the shifter. very bad get a good boot and it will bend like a shoe my alpinestar tec 8's rule

 

Well i had that problem too when i got my mx boots. I took my 2 atv,s in the shop for a tune up and we asked them if they could lift the shifter up and they said they could and now my boot can fit right under my shifter.
