Not to be rude, but anyone who uses Rocky mountain must not have shopped around. I find Rocky Mt. to be on the high side for just about everything. I just bought a big wheel kit (2 26- 9x12 and 2 26- 12x12) with ITP 589 tires and type 4 rims for 610 at....

tires4fun.com. Call the guy and he'll do better than what his website says. My kit totaled 680 on the site, but he knocked 70 off of what was already a good price.

Ebay is always a good place to start when looking for anything.. Well, excpet for ANYTHING for a kawi p360.. You can find everything for the p650, 700 and BF, but little to nothing for the 360..

And beware of the "submit best offer" ebay now has on some listings. I was looking to get a set 05 589s for 333.80 or submit the offer.. I submitted 275 to see what his counter ofer would be. It was 333.00.. I wonder WTF he had the submit best option on the listing for...80 CENTS off.. Thanks buddy. You've really made me feel like I'm stealing them now. NO I didn't take the super duper .80 discount ;-)

The tires you buy at the dealer are the same tires you can buy online through many discount websites. Same tire the only difference is the price.

Most dealers try and rape you with their prices, so shop around and dont get screwed by them!!!

I would never buy anything from any dealer, be it ATV or automobile. As was mentioned you don’t get the best quality or product from a dealer you get the same quality and product from a dealer as you can on-line except at the dealer they add serious mark-up for profit which has nothing to do with quality, good product, or customer service…

If you want quality tires the first place you should go to is your local dealer. Don't be dumb and threaten to take your business out of town. Your dollars belong in your town.
You've got to be kidding Bob! Your theory isn't flying with anybody here. If you want the tire business from these guys, you need talk the boss into adjusting the prices. I am happy to buy from my dealer and do so whenever practical but if I can save $100 on the exact same tire package somewhere else, I would be a fool not to.

No kiddin JSsDS. They are nice and friendly and customer supportive, that is until after youve bought the items. Then it turns too "we cant help you buddy, you must have done something to cause a prob with the items you bought" , they turn almost every return into "what did you do to damage it like this" , even though it was just them selling you over priced items that didnt meet the epectations and the advertising the products carry with them!

I work at a dealership and no one gets "cheap" stuff. What they do get is quality and a good service behind it. Try to get your hands on a counter person when your mail order tire is not right.

Let me tell you about the dealership, the only thing you buy from the dealership is the bike itself, or a washer and drain plug. The dealer wanted to sell me a Yoshimura "Cherry Bomb" for my bike for the low price of $150.00 installed! This part is $39.99 everywhere else and takes 3 1/2 minutes to put on.
I would like to support the local dealerships when they put the word "Deal" back into dealership!

I guess you people are missing the point. Any good dealer will deal. I just don't advocate buying the cheapest. I am more for supporting communities and saving jobs. People work at dealerships the same as you do in your job. I am all for friendly compitition on pricing but not at the exspense of putting people out of work. Personnaly I enjoy going to a parts store or grocery store or most local places and being known and treated with honesty and friendship. If I have a problem I know who I have been dealing with and who to see.

Edited by ATV Connection moderator because you work for the dealer:

forum rules on the FAQ page:
No commercial Advertising. No posting of commercial web addresses, phone numbers or links in either forum messages, private forum messages or in the author's signature. No use of company names in forum author nicknames or any type of solicitation for commercial business or gain.

Your editing is wrong!!! I did not mention the dealer I work at and I did not give a link... I mentioned a store in Maine
You need to re-read the entire post and get the other store names out and treat the issues fairly.

If you want to impose your "moderator" skills then use them properly and fairly across the board!

Heck want cheap tires go to tractor suppy..... you will get what you pay for.

Bob does that sound right to you? doesnt sound right to me. The dealer should charge a fair markup on a product and that should be the price. but no the dealers try and get as much money as they can outta people. I bet there aint 2 people that have paid the same price for an ATV. WTF. why cant they just be a price? instead the dealers try and gouge those without negotiation power. bunch of predators.
