no way! the z rider must suck. a bone stock 660 raptor? they are gutless until you pipe and jet them. ive beat a stock 700 raptor with my mods and my jetting was off. i can beat a piped and jetted 660 raptor at 100 yards, but after that raptor will win.

Agreed, Shorter runs the Z is out front. I have done it as well myself. Also in tight woods.

The rider on the z was me and 2 other people and the results were the same both times. The z jumped out front until i hit 5th, then he started realing past me like it was nobody's business. I can't understand it either...I think he just has a very good raptor...

all depends on the brand, for 120 bucks, the big gun boosts rev limitor, or the maximum the bike can rev to by 1000 revs. it also gives the bike a more aggressive timing curve, or the timing of the gas and air mixing in the cylinder and the cams/valve timing. the yoshimura is very good too i am told but not sure of its specifics.

We have the Procom cdi unit and it works with the other mods perfectly. The key is to get one that changes the timeing, and rpm limit. and to have the other mods like exhaust and intake to take advantage of the box.
