Default Tire size on a 700 king quad

anyone running bigger tires on there KQ? hows the power with the big meats? 27"s? 28"s? or bigger?

You are going to loose power with any tire other than the stock tire. The bigger / heaver the tire the more you will notice the lose of power. I would suggest a clutch kit install!

I put 26x10x12 on the front, and 26x12x12 mudlite xl on my king. There is a little power loss, nothing a clutch kit won't take care of though. I really like the mud lites, in the snow i can go places that friends with different bikes, can't go. My buddies grizzle with duro excavators on it had to use the locker to follow me on some of the trails, on our last ride. Another friend with a stock 700 polaris, forget it he couldn't come close to keeping up. He's not too happy with the polaris 4x4 system. They are a little rough riding on real rocky trials. But they really grip, and are alot smoother riding than i thought they would be. I also put the black itp type 4 rims on, the red king they look great.
