I dont have a quadracer (yet) but my 230 quadsport takes a hell of a beating. I was getting air with the big boys today. I was getting the same height and lenght as them but had to have it pined in 5th gear. For me not having good suspension as a raptor I dident brake/bend/twist or disfigure my a-arms or axle or anything in any way. Heck I dident even blow my carbs off when i landed. lol My skid plate got bent but dident break but what do you expect for hitting a rock at full speed. Tell you the truth i thought i bent my left foot peg from doing a kick out off a small jump and putting all my weight on the very end of it. but when i got home i checked it out tightened up both bolts and no problem. i even jumped on it to make sure she was good. So even though im temped to get a banshee 400ex raptor, Id rather get a quadracer or wait and see what suzukis new one will be.

I found a really nice lt250 for 2200. its a 86. has new plastic and painted frame. engies strong. The guy told me that he'll hold my 230 untill i get the money. But does anyone know anyone who wants to buy it. im located in western pa. i just want what i owe on it and thats 1267.50 i added all kinds of new stuff. email me for pics. Is that a good price for a lt. i really love it and want to get it asap instead of waiting for the income tax check.

This weekend I had the chance to compare a piped 1999 400EX to my '92 LT. We were racing through woods trails with lot's of tight turns and a few 100 yd. straights. As far as handling, these bikes perform very close. On the straights the LT was much faster. After a few laps we switched rides, so I really got to compare the two. For jumping on someone else's ride, I immediately felt comfortable on the Honda as far as braking and cornering, but the the power was different and about what I expected. Interesting, after we made two laps, he said he could turn mine much tighter. Personally I feel my brakes were better and the sliding ability I've grown used to helps get through the corners. I love my 8 yr old machine more everytime I ride it. Man, there's nothing better than an afternoon of a little friendly competition, no matter what you ride.
