I recently purchased a new 2000 Quadmaster 500 with automatic transmission. Sometimes I could use a crow bar to get it out of low. I do a lot of pulling at low speeds and it gets worse after I run a while. I took it in for 100 mile service and the guy said it was fine. This is the only complaint with this machine. Is this a common problem?

My wife seems to have the same problem. I think she doesn't push down very hard when she is attempting to take it out of low. I always give it a quick down and back action and never seem to have a problem. Does your 2wd 4wd lever ever stick in 4wd? Mine does every now and again. Usually I just pull forward or back a few feet and then it disengages. How do you like your machine so far? We love ours. My parents have a Polaris SP500 which we ride with all the time. My wife hates to ride the polaris because it is hard to steer and it feels so top heavy. I put a Warn winch and a MUD winch mount on last year. Have you installed any acc?
