Default standing up a KQ300

is it okay to stand a KQ300 on the back rack to wash the underside and inspect things? My father told me he did something like this and his airbox filled up. I don't remember if he said with oil or gas. What do you guys think?

as long as you close the pet-**** and I also drain the bowl before standing it up very little fule should flow into the airbox. There is a drain screw on the bottom of the carb to drain the bowl . Also, once u put it back on 4 wheels, I was told long ago to wait at least 1/2 hour before starting a quad once it's been inverted....

I don't believe there is an off for the petcock, just an On, Reserve, and Prime. I guess I'll just have to try it and find out! Thanks for the reply!

it sounds like the same as on my Z400. Turn it to the on position. Once the bowl is drained and you don't try to turn on the motor no more gas should be fed to the carb. Prime will allow more gas to flow (I don't know why, it just does).
