How do these quads compare in overall horsepower (throughout entire powerband) and top-end speed?

 

my friends brother has a ltr450 and that thing rips. it beats every thing in the hole shot but i dont no about top speed hope this helps

 

Bone stock , I think the Honda has the most Hp, by 1 or 2. As 4 power throu out . I dont know ? Where I ride most everybody has either a Raptor 700 or a yfz 450 . Which they all tow in with their F150's.

 

ive read in articles that stock 450Rs are faster (topped out) than the LTR 450s, the YFZs are too. it also said the ltr doesnt have the low end punch like the yfz. the horsepowers are very close tho, low-mid 40s.

 

i dont get why the mx quads are geared to go in the mid 70' mph.. They should just be all accel to like 55mph. MX your not gonna do more than 50 on an mx track!

 

Here is the thing thou . The Hp #s of a LTR go way up with no lid no sparky and Cherry Bomb . I think more than the other 450's with pipes. Stock LTRs breath out of two small holes.

 

Oh , and as for less low end punch than the YFZs . I dont think Dirt Wheeles understands the concept of smooth power deliverey .

 

There are lots of mx tracks you can hit speeds well above 60 mph. Up here in norcal we have a couple high speed tracks. Look at Glen Helen. The oleshot is almost a quarter mile long! Just something to think about.,
