Me and a friend were riding the other day he was on the back and i decided to go through the creek that i have been through a couple times before and mid way through something started slipping or grinding in the rear end of my quad, Me and him were barely able to push it in reverse back out but managed to do so and rode it back with just the front tires pulling the whole four wheeler, the grinding was definitly coming from the back and the drive shaft was moving into the rear end but the back tires werent moving with any tension on them when we lifted the front end up. Im guessing it was the rear gears and pinion but im not sure any help or opinions would be greatly helped.
