Has anyone had or know of any overheating problems with these things. I just bought one last monday and it went back to the dealer Friday with only about 5 hours of riding time on it. Ride it for about ten minutes and it starts to overheat. I heard that the heads on these things like to melt. I heard that from a friend and he heard it from a friend, and so on and so on. Could be a bunch of hear say. Don't know the details on that but if anyone else does, any info would be greatly appreciated.

I was still putting break in time on it, so I wasn't getting to carried away with riding it to hard. More or less just driving around the yard and up and down the street. Not really pushing it but not just putts'n around either. The dealer that I bought it from said that the coolant was filled to high from the factory. Thats why it was puking. So needless to say I took it out and tried to make it overheat and now it won't. So... I don't know.

Glad to hear that it wasn't a major issue. I've run the heck out of mine and have not had any problems. However I do keep an eye out on the forums for potential issues.

its different. The magnesium part does not cross any coolant passages, just covers up the clutch part. The rest of the case cover is aluminum.

The Z400s case cover was completely magnesium...

No worries

Trinity has exhaust, intake, and module upgrades that give it an extra 11 HP
