Default Hot Cams ????

Does hot cams help low end or high and how much of a difference do they make? Also are they a pain to put in?

There is 2 stages for the Z. One is for bottom end gain and the 2 is for over rev. The stage 2 is a good set of cams. They take a little bit of torque, but give a good amount of top end power. If you raise compression an install the stage 2's will really be happy. You can raise the compression .8 to 1 by getting the base gasket from the DRZ400 dirt bike.

Default Hot Cams ????

stage 1 is intake cam only and it helps on low end only
stage 2 is both cams and it gives great mid to top end
its not hard to install a set but you do have to readjust valves in the process
and putting a base gasket of a DRZ helps
