Overall Length of Eiger?
#1
I'm getting an Eiger in two days. I need to know if it will fit on a 4x6 Trailer. I know it will width wise but will it be too long? If it will fit I am going to get a 4x6 tilt from tractor supply because I am only going to be hauling it very short distances, so im not really worried about the bearings. They also have a 5x8, but I can't see paying 200 more bucks for a 2 more feet.

It's going to be close. As you say, width is no problem. Max width (at fender plastic) is 45". Width at tires is a little less.
Max overall length is 7' - 1/2", but that is from front of front bumper to rear of rear rack.
More important it the length from the back of the rear tire to the front of the front tire = 6' - 3". This distance is at the widest part of the tires and is just under 10" off the deck of the trailer. So depending on the height of any front and back trailer rails you could pick up a little more. Even if you have a front rail you will be OK, as long as you do not have a back gate of any kind. If that's the case than you'll have a couple of inches of rear tire plus some rear rack overhanging the back of the trailer.

It is a long quad. But most of the length is the bumper and the rear rack. It fits in the back of my Dodge with a 6.5 foot bed but I cant close the tail gate (I keep it about 6 inches from the back window). I put it sideways on my 5 x 13 trailer without a problem it hangs out, but not to bad.

It's going to be real close,Like Jay said it all depends on the heigth of the sides/front/back of the trailer. Here's how close it is, I had a F-150 short bed, I could not close the tailgate,, I now have a F-350 short bed and the tailgate closes (barely). As far as you extra 2 feet or trailer,,You'll always wish it was 2 feet longer,,Just like boats...2 footidce.. JJ
