1990 suzuki LT-F250
#1
hello everyone I am looking forsome advice from the knowledgeable members of this site! I have got a 1990 suzuki LT-F250. it was just purchased a few weeksago from a guy and it wassitting in the guys shed for 2 years with they gas in it which I drained and put new gas in it alsoi i checked and the oil was overful so i drained that and put new oil into it. I also put a new oil filter, sparkplug, back brake pads and light onto it. THe question is about the bike because it is being stored outside at the moment with a tarp but in the mornings it has been a pain to get it going with the starter button on it. If I use the pull chord it will start up pretty good. my question is what could be causing this because once it is running it runs like a new bike pretty smooth and everything!!!!!!!! Any ideas? there are a few thoughts that we thought could be the cause: first the battery ( but once it is running it goes well) , the choke, or the carb being gummed up. the thing about the carberater though is that she idles great once warmed up!!!!!!!!
any help would be greatly appreciated
thank you in advance
