Submerged Eiger! Questions!!!!
#1
I sank my Eiger last night! It got flooded in the intake and exhaust. It was full of oil and water but I have since drained the milk from it and flushed it twice with 2 gallons of diesel. I have also flushed it with oil twice. However, I am still noticing a good bit of milk around the oil filter even after I replace it. What more can and should I do? Oh yeah, I replaced the air cleaner as well!
Thanks,
Drew

Change oil and filter again, but replace one quart of oil with Marvel Mystery Oil. Run engine at lower RPM's until warm. The Marvel Mystery oil will mix with the moisture in the engine and you will get most of the moisture out. I carry a quart of Marvel on the trail, if engine is drowned, you can drain out the excess water and one quart of oil and add the Marvel mystery oil to bring it back to full and you will probably be safe to ride it SLOWLY back to your vehicle. This can be utilized especailly if you are in an area that makes it difficult to be towed. You should be able to change oil and filter and run engine slowly until warm to make sure oil is clean.
