My dad's quad runner has some problems I don't know how to fix or what is wrong. First it has a knocking sound it the engine. It sounds like piston seizure or rings. It is leaking at the head gasket and oil is coming from the leak, making it smell nasty when it starts burning it. It has always had over heating problems ever since we got it. Is this normal?

NO if the bike is under warranty take it back to the dealer.

 

EVERY,and i mean EVERY suzuki quad from 1980 to early 90's have leaked oil from a defective oil seal on the head.Adjust your valves for the pinging.

 

every suzuki i've rode has overated after a while.change heat ranges on plug or rejet higher
