Suzuki Ozark

Its an excellent starter quad. For a little utility quad its got a sporty feel to it. I started out on one and after 6 months I moved up to a 400EX cause I was overiding the little Ozark.....
Its a great little quad and does surprisingly well in the mud for a two wheel drive. The only issue I had with mine was with the front wheel bearings..........but I was pretty hard on it.

I have a 2005 lt250z it is not what I call a starter quad it is a great all around machine I go to Biedas track and pound it all day and then go muddin the next day and it runs great . my son has the 2005 lt160 and anybody that rides with us will tell you don't bother trying to stay with Travman that lt160 flies . The point is that Suzuki makes a bullitproof machine. in the year that I have had this machine the valves only needed to be adjusted once never touched the brakes , cables or nothing. oh and the guys I ride with on 330 polaris ,400 hondas ect. they usually are playing catchup so buy the 250 and have some fun

I too have the ltz250 (basically ozark with sport plastic) I am a mature adult and my little 250 handles great and will go almost anywhere the big 4x4 quads can go. When I come to the big mudholes or rutted trails or tight squeezes I can usually skirt around the side or just go on through with the big guys. So you may find that you really like that "starter" quad and never outgrow it. I especially get a kick when the big guys are stuck between 2 trees and my tires don't even scrape the sides. Reliabilty has been great also and I like the shaft drive.

I had an '05 Ozark and it was a great little quad for the money! The throttle was very responsive and it was a blast to play on the trails with because it was so light you could really throw it around. It's size made it very easy to control. I never had one problem with it until I was riding in the snow and smacked a tree with it and bent the frame....oops. It all worked out in the end. Insurance gave me more than I originally paid for it.
I would definitely recommend an Ozark to anyone looking to get into the sport or for a younger rider or someone who justs want great little trail machine.

great machine my ozark is has lasted me 4 years and still running strong. I have had no engine problems and everytime my ds decides not to work which is the reason why im selling it,I take out my ozark and run stuff over go through the mud. I also hit jumps with it and seems to hold up pretty good just isn't the softest suspension so its a little rough but I love it.

I've had my LTZ250 for 2 years now and it is ridden hard. Apart from new brake pads and oil/filter change I have not had to do anything to it despite being caned everywhere and sometimes up to its seat in water/mud. It's also great on the road (50mph) and for pulling my trailer round the garden etc. Reverse, shaft drive and electric start with no clutch is great!!!!!
There are quicker atv's but this is one great allround atv!!!!
