Default Here We go, dealer whoa's !!!!

Dropped my KQ of at dealer after only one month of owning it. It didnt want to run right, idle probs. Plus they had left some plastic parts off when assemblying it so they ordered those right when I dropped it off. I kept calling to see if theyed investigated the idle probs and they always had an excuse. "Weve got a big back log, mechanic working on that quad is out sick etc, etc, etc. Well finnaly a month later they get to it and i call and the guy says "No probs we can find, it starts right up and runs fine, you dont have too many miles on it yet (200) so just go out and ride it". Thats when I got pissed. I told him when I dropped it off it wouldnt hardly run at all, and Im 100% sure when I get it home, an hour drive, its not gonna run for sh$%t. I explained thats why i "harrased" them evryday about it, becasue I new as soon as they got to it it would run fine for them. I explained if i get it home and it doesnt run right and i bring it back, I wont leave the dealership (even if i have to pop up a tent in the parking lot) until the mechanic has came out and "R&D'd" it with me. Just blowing off steam here. Sorry.

Being it is that new I'd contact an attorney and see if I had any recourse to get my money back. At least do some research about the "lemon laws" in your state and go back to your stealer armed with that. Personally I'd dump the machine and try again. Sounds like you happened to get a bad one.

OK, I dont live where I keep my quads, so I asked my buddy to stop and pick up my KQ and take it home and ride it for me. after dealer says no probs. They did put on the missing plastics and replace the bulb in the handlebar / pod light. He gets it home rides it and calls me and guess what , IT WONT RUN. HA, i knew it. So I called ealer and left message with service and sales, a real nice message. So now Im gonna do a little "R&D" myself. My bud pulled the spark plug and is going to pick up a new one today and see if thats the prob. If it is, (which i strongly believe it is, its a common prob with new ATv's, the first plug goes out pretty quik), I just wanted the dealer to fix it even if it was as simple as a new plug. So if thats it im Going to send them i nice letter. Heck i might even replace the plug with stock one and take it to them to see if they can figure it out.
