threw the gears and on top speed which of the two is fastest and is the suzuki realy as fast as its supposed to be because theres lots of rumors and i got the trx not trusting suzuki on its first 450 please and thank you any input helps and if it is faster than the 450r what should i do to beat it thanx

 

The Honda has the best and most power from the stock motor. The Suzuki has the best suspenstion. Each one can be modified to beat the other one. It comes down to the rider if each is modied the same. The suzuki is made for mx with it's 18" tires which means it's going to reach its top speed faster,but the trx with 20" tires will have a higher top speed. Add the cherry bomb to the suzuki and look out! Add the HRC kit to the Trx450 and look out! If you dont add the HRC kit then atleast do like I did and open up the air box by removing the lid or cut out a hole to match the HRC lid and add a proflow airfilter kit Rejett the carb with bigger main and pilot jets. Mine runs best with a 170 main and 45 pilot. Then add a exhaust, eathier a full or a slip on. I added a slip on DMC an dit's great. Try these sites and do a search on the Homemade HRC lid. I cut the hole and sliped over an old pair of pantie hose and it keeps msot of the crap out and even repels water. I think you made the right decesion with the Honda!
