Default Need help with LTZ400

My LTZ400's got a bit of a problem and i don't know what it could be.
It starts up ok, i warm up the engine with the choke on, then when the engine is warm i take off the choke.
I then put it in 1st gear and im off. It runs ok untill i approach a turning or have to slow down. As I approach the turning I pull in the clutch let go the accelerater and change down a gear or two, but everytime while im doing this my quad cuts out, and then is hard to start up again. It seems to cut out everytime I let go the accelerater for more than a few seconds.

I really don't know why it is doing this.
Any help greatly appreciated.

It sounds like you have a rich condition in your jetting. I had the same problem, I rejetted my carb and all was good. Have you ever rejetted, or did you move to a different elevation from where you bought your Z?

Your choke may be sticking open a bit, get yourself a pull choke and get rid of that thing on your clutch perch, check your spark plug for a fouled condition. You dont say where your from, but you shouldnt need the choke above about 70 degrees.

I noticed that you only have 10 post's on here. That make's me ask, Did you just get this quad? The reason I ask and it is embarasing is when I got mine I thought the P on the petcock of the carb ment primary. It actually mean's prime. And I was having the same problem. Hope it's that simple for you. You may be flooding it.
