ok I have been working on this what looks like a 1985 quadrunner 230. for one it has a driveshaft final drive instead of a chain and sprocket. it also has a low and high range w/ reverse.
but my problem is every where i look to find a piston, lists it for a lt230. are these the same motors? and where else could i go to find parts for such an old beast?

every quad i see made by suxuki that is a 230 have a chain and sprocket set-up, plus a few other minor differences. this is why i'm confused. i can't seem to find this quad any where else in catologs or websites.

 

Try BikeBandit.com and look it up as a 1985 LT230 GEF, I believe that is what you have. These weren't real popular so parts aren't going to be easy to find. Sorry, but I don't know what the difference may be in engines.
