I was wondering if it would be ok to put Mobile 1 Syn. Oil in my 05' King Quad. I heard several mixed opinions. If it does cause problems, would it do the same in an 05' Auto Vinson. Please advise. Thanks.

 

not sure about mobil 1 but i know Royal Purple just came out with a motorcycle/ atv oil, RP oil is very good oil I use it in everything i own but it is kind of expensive about $10 a quart. I would try that. I will be putting it in my king quad as soon as it is broke in properly, about another 5 hrs.

 

Make sure that whatever oil you use is wet clutch compatible. I use Amsoil and have never had an issue with it.

Make sure you've got a good, solid filter wrench. When I did mine, I think I almost killed myself trying to get the freakin' filter off.

 

I also use amsoil there is several good ones out there I use 0-40 and have use 10-40 just make sure you are not using oil with a friction modifier. use wet clutch oil
