would like to know how much extra ground clearance under the back axle was obtained and did it affect the handling at all?

well since they are an inch bigger all the way around you will gain one inch of ground clearance. i did it to my z400. stockers are 20 and i run 22's and gained about an inch

My son put 20" Holeshot GNCC's on his. He gained roughly an inch of clearance. The back end felt like it tracked better with the new tires.

i put 20" haulers 8 paddles on my LTR, i put 30#'s of air in them when i first got them to stretch em out so now i have a 21" hauler, and in the sand, it boged down bad on take off. i would be on the rev limit and dump the clutch and it would fall on its face. so i changed the rear sproket to a 39 tooth. it is good to go now but there is still no taking off in second. i am going to let it ride like that till i put the yoshi system on it.

id do like getrmuddy said,20' tires and change rear sprocket and you'll be good to go. glen didnt you have a pain putting the rear sprocket on?? i went with the front of my 400, dont think they make 1 for the 450 yet. they say its easier on the tranny with rear sprocket. glen you should be able to come out in 2nd!

naw i didn't ruin my tires, you idiot. Nobody ask u anyway...........kawiking yes i had a little trouble with taking my stock sprocket off, for about 3mins then i cut it off with a grinder. The new one went on with no problem. I think they have the front, and the back now for the LTR. i rode last sat. and sun. clarksville and caswells i really couldn't take off in second like i wanted but first is coming out the hole like crazy. Notso and me are just about neck and neck. You know his yfz runs pretty good. you riding this weekend???

theres no need for an attitude, yes you did ruin your tires, didnt you read the side wall, it clearly states the PSI limit and i know its not 30, what you did was pop the wires inside

i dont want to argue, but you're the idiot

on sand tires its no more than 10 lbs and that for seating the bead. your lucky it didnt blow up on you.
as for the original question you'l gain 1 inch but you will have to regear or you'll have all top end speed and you'll loose the low end torque
