Generally the Ozark is considered the best in the 250 ute class. IMO, the top spot is shared by the Ozark and the Recon but the Ozark is just a little better - slightly larger engine, a little more suspension travel and ground clearence plus it has disc brakes up front.

It's a good sporty machine and very reliable. The shifting can be a little notchy on some but not too bad. We've had no problems out of ours with almost four years of ownership.

What Jaybee said. Best in the 250 class. Sporty suspension, disc brakes, stout 246cc motor with a light, nimble ride. A good trail machine and fun in the sand.

We've had 2 Ozarks for 2 years now and haven't had any problems with either one. Very reliable. Good trail machine.

Default Need To Know About The Ozark 250

I've had my 2006 Ozark for a little over 2 months now. It has been a blast to ride. I initially wanted to use it for hunting, but after getting on it (my first ATV), I didn't realize how much more speed I wanted on it. Ask yourself first why you want to get an ATV or an Ozark for that matter. If you want speed then go for a sport ATV. I pushed my Ozark to a little over 40mph last weekend. That was fun. I know it could have gone faster if I had more space. But otherwise, I have no regrets buying my Ozark. I would recommend it to anyone who wanted to get into the sport. And I agree with everybody else, the OZark is the best 250cc in its class. I did my extensive homework before I made the decision to get the Ozark. If you want to hear more from the owners of Ozark of different years, go to www.powersportsnetwork.com then click on new atvs, then choose suzuki, then click on the ozark , then click on "read reviews." Good luck.
