bent rim
#2
Depends on how bad it is. I've had some that I can beat out by using a hammer and a block of wood, others need to be pried with vise grips. You may have to remove the tire - here too, depends on how bad the bend is.
All my ATV's are utilities and I've never noticed any problems after fixing a rim, but all mine have been minor bends plus your sport bike might be a little more sensitive to any out of balance vibrations. All you can do is try it and see. If you need a new rim and yours are stock, there are many riders out there who have gone for aftermarket wheels and have the stock set just sitting around. You might find a deal in the classifieds.

Thanks for the reply, I really didnt notice it until I removed the rim and tire to lube my a arm bushings and bearings, and it seems to only be bent on the inside. I think I will try the hammer and wood block trick.

keep an eye on ebay also, i saw a stock front rim and tire from either the z400 or kfx400 going for 12.00 a few days ago. i just bought two rears with tires (50% tread) for 18.00 on ebay. I thought it would be nice to have extras, and at that price I couldnt refuse.... good luck
