Default CHARGING PROBLEMS

anyone here know why i cant get my bike to charge the battery,its a 1986 lt250.i have 2 of the same bikes and the other one charges the same battery great.without it my lights or winch wont be no good to me.

my guess would be that the stator has gone bad i'll send you a link of one:

Sounds like the rectifier is faulty.

Default CHARGING PROBLEMS

it could be the rectifier but i changed it ,there was no difference.my neutral light wont come on and the starter button wont work,where do those wires go to,the previous owner said the electric start worked and it does as long as you cross the soliniod in the back.
any ideas where to start testing or looking.thanks

is the ground wire loose at all or do any of the wires have dirt or anything causing them to not get power check the wires and see how they are.

ive checked the wires,they seem all right.is there a certian place on the stator that can be changed for the charging?my neutral light dont even work.the bike will run without the battery though,is that normal?

well its kick start it won't run off the battery once you have it running the battery will help for the lights and accesories etc yea just change the stator altogether go onto that site and buy youself a new one its inside the magneto
