Change the engines in that thing Go out and Get a KX500 engine and modd the heck out of that thing! Stroke it out to its max, bore it out to its max, raise the compression Way up, go up 1 tooth on the front sprocket, Pipe it, new carb I would say burn it on alcohol, airfilter, if they make an aftermarket cylinder get it, new clutch, port and polish it, dont be cheep on the pipe neither!!, put that engine in a 250r frame ( the honda) and then stretch the swing arm alittle and your off to the drags to run some banshees!! lol dont be like everyone else dont go with a banshee anything, if u seen one fast shee u seen them all,

fast 250x: You obviously have no idea what you are talking about!
For some constructive usefull info: You should get an 87 the intakes are bigger and will produce the most HP. Get a Dr.Q Pipe it is a must and no other pipe can touch it. go with a 41mm carb, Make sure to replace the 8mm head bolts with 10mm units to avoid the issues with unplanned disassembly. I would also suggest talking to Dr. Q on head work. You can contact him on planet sand. Good luck they are amazing machines.

yes i knew the 87 has the biggest intake and they were the fastest 500 made... And yes i did know u replace the head bolts.... But there was one thing i didnt know.. was about DR.D i have seen there pipes on bikes but never seen how they proform... so my bad there.. I always liked toomy and other stuff like that and i like ESR and sparks for engine work i am partial to sparks..... im not really familiar with how big aftermarket cranks go for the zilla but i would sugest u look into that and get a nice size one put in I love stroker cranks there really nice i have one in my 87 lt250r but sorry for anyspelling errors i have hope u understood
