Default 1987 Zilla Decals

I am looking for a set of OEM decals for the rear fenders that are the '500' for a 1987 LT500. Does anyone have any suggestions of where to get these? Thanks!!!

a SUZUKI dealer would have them, or try bikebandit.com or ebay.

Thanks for the tip. I already tried that. I guess that I forgot to mention that they are discontinued decals that I am looking for. Any other tips of where to find these decals?

Thanks

There is a guy on eBay who sells tons of reproduction decals for older quads and trikes. His eBay name is atc250r. He may not have the ones you want on eBay right now, but he probably has them if you send him a message. I've bought several decals from him in the past including some 500 decals for an '88 zilla.

BTW, the 500 decals your talking about were different every single year. The '87 ones are smaller than all other years, and have black and blue numbers. The '88 ones have dark blue and light blue numbers. The '89 ones have 3 shades of blue in the numbers. The '90 ones have the same three shades of blue, plus have a white outline around the outside.

The only small complaint I have is the '88 500 decals I bought from him were the same size as the '88 250 decals on the quadracers. If you know what I'm talking about, the '88 250 decals are actually much larger than the 500 decals. I'm not too disappointed though because my brother is going to build a 250/500 hybrid, so the 500 decals would look stock and be a pretty unique. I think he probably used the stock 250 decals for the tooling and simply changed the numbers to 500 for those particular decals.

I also bought some reproduction 86 230 quadsport decals from him. They were perfectly stock looking and were actually thicker and more durable than the originals.

If you e-mail him, be very specific on the year. Make sure he knows the color and size. He once had a set of factory black number plate decals that were stock on the rear of the zilla fenders for sale on eBay. I e-mailed him and asked if he could make them in the dark blue (almost purple) color like the stock ones in '88. He did it with no problem. They matched perfectly.

Hope this helps.

Thank you so much for the help. I will try to get in touch with the guy from eBay and hopefully will have some luck. Thanks for all of the tips and I am glad to hear that you had a decent transaction with him. I will let you know what I find out.

Thanks again
