nope it was and R 450 and they top out b4 the 660's and Preds and the 660 has the low end unlike the R

 

after i brought my quad to the shop to have him look at the jetting on my bike, their was a guy their who just had the shop put on smaller rear tires. Other than that he is stock i think (i hope because it was dissapointingly slow) we raced and i ate him up.. I only got up to 4th gear though so maybe he would have got me top speed but i doubt it with the smaller rear tires!

 

wut about the ltz 400 stock against the raptor 660 stock?

z400 vs. raptor would be a good race I think. I think the raptor would take an early lead and the z would be close behind until the end, just a guess though, I've never seen it happen. And it depends if the raptor is piped, cause the stock pipe is very restrictive.

 

well i have a kfx 400 and i raced a 04 rap 660 with a hmf slip on and i got beat the whole way and at the end i was 6 lengths behind and this is on a half mile track and i raced a 05 stock and got beat by about 4 lengths at the end the whole way to

 

i've raced a ltr450 with two brothes pipe and i have a pred with pp slip on........ it comes down on whoever gets the holeshot, whoever gets the holeshot wins by 1 bike.....in a longer race i would easily beat him...... so a piped raptor should be close sense raptor vs pred is a close race

 

The reason the ltr is slow is the 18in tires, so if you drag him with 20in on the ltr you mite have different results.

 

he did have 20 in. tires ......... he had razr 2's

 

I rode both on the same day at the dunes. The R450 is a much better bike. It beats the raptor easily. Handles better, shifts better, more comfortable. There is no comparison in my opinion. I have it on video if there are any none belivers. The craptor would jump the zuki out the hole (only because the rider was in experienced) and the zuki would run it down with out a problem, on the flats or up the hill.
