which is faster 450 or 660??? hows the 450 in the dunes?

IMO they are both fast but made for different things.

 

From what i've been TOLD and seen the 660 will have the 450 at the start and the 450 will come flying past later on. buying a cherry bomb and doing the mods will help this tho.....so my edge would be the 450 and besides its quite a bit stablier at high speeds or should be anyhow :S never rode one but with those wide a-arms you'd think......

 

Did you guys read the suzuki ltr450 vs the honda 330 contest? With the airbox lid off and the silencer uncorcked the ltr pushed 52 hp and blew the honda 330r out of the water in a drag,so i dont think it would have a problem with the 660

 

well i can tell ya for sho that the LTR with the rite rider will put a hurt on a rappy. unless they have dropped some money in it. of course that is with anything. "he with the most money in his ride is most likley the fastest." but just for us everyday riders yes 450 see ya later rappy.

 

I have raced a couple 660s with pipes. Its not a fair race. The 450 is a lot faster. Up hiils it gets even worse . Were talkin 10- 12 quad lenghts . The 700 is a different story. Best rider in that case .

 

I would definitly say the ltr450 would be faster stock for stock.

 

from wut ive seen with them and heard in a drag the 660 will win. stock for stock the 660 will pull away at the start and should easily pulll away till top of 3rd maybe 4th gear where the 450 should start gaining. depending on how long the drag is the 660 will pull away topping out between 73 and 75 while the 450 topping out between 70 and 73
