yes, it will fit, but it will bring the compression down, 88 and up heads are smaller CC giving u more power. I took off my 87 head off my 87 motor and put on an 88, big differance way better

yes, its better for power. make sure u only use fasctoy oem suzuki gaskets, there the only one that will that the PSI, and i wont run any octane below 93
