Quadrunner 230 top speed?
#4
It depends on what 230 you are talking about.
A quadsport LT230S is the fastest. With stock motor and gearing, they won't quite run 50.
An LT230E quadrunner is the next fastest 230. It actually has higher internal gearing than the sport but it's geared lower from the factory with its sprockets. They'll run about 45 wide open.
The LT230G and LTF230 quadrunners are pure utility quads. They'll run right around 40 wide open.
I know these speeds sound slow, but it's the truth. With gearing changes, a quadsport with a bone stock motor can pull about 60 mph. Most people that own them never leave them geared stock since they are geared so slow. My sport with 13 - 38 gearing and a few minor motor mods would run 63 on flat pavement.

me myself have a little yamaha blaster thats modded up a bit... I just have to get it running haha. they wont be able to touch me with their quads!
