and thanks alot man, i'm pretty proud of it. i just painted the skid plate blue so it matches the seat. it looks really nice. can't really see it but i know its there. hah. and i also added some new scott handlebar grips. i havent added any performance mods becasue 1. no money. and 2. the way i look at it, the more you add, the more problems you have. i know its not always the case, but whatever. im not too worried about how sweet my quad sounds or any of that. im jsut happy to have somethin to ride

Heres a neet situation. Me and my brother were racing up rt 132 in bethel ohio. I was on a 92 lt250r with a paul turner exhaust and a k and n filter, and a 36 mm carb. He was on a 99 banshee,5mm longrod,trinity cv carb kit,and dg 2 into one exhaust. The lt is geared stock the banshee is geared down 1 tooth in the front. I took off a few seconds ahead of time so i was out in front. I was in 6th,let me repeat that "6th" gear topped completely out-When he just blew by me,I thought to myself,man that thing is fast--THEN I HEARD HIM SHIFT INTO SIXTH AHEAD OF ME!!!!!! HE HAD PASSED ME IN 5TH! Point is,lt's are awesome handling quick quads,but it would take one heck of an lt to out run a piped banshee. We own 4 banshees,92'96'99',and an 06,and 2 lt's an 85 and a 92,so i know

 

sorry... kawi has retired as a drag bike. im 1 of the smart people that know you'll sink more $ in a 4-stroke when you could go 2-stroke for 1/2 the $ and still be faster. i have more in my kfx than i have in my whole shee. and my shee will smoke it. 1fasstpred, i wish i knew what driverdoyle has in his shee. i hope we get to race before winter time . i know this winter theres going to be alot of motor work going on around these parts.

1fasstpred- well,sorry . i planned on coming out this weekend to get my beer, but.... it seems like my cams in my shee jumped time some how.???? its not running good at all, its also draining by battery really fast. i had to jump it off my truck twice. do you think it could be my alternator on my shee going bad???

i wonder if you called the yamaha dealership and told them you have a bad battery on your shee,what would they say. they'ed probably try and sell you 1 or have a damn good laugh after they got of the phone.
