im in the process of gettin an '87 250r with pipe, jetted, filter, ported and polished and new reeds and my friend has an '03 400ex with a slip-on, jeted and filter and hes sayin he will wreck me. i wont be able to get my quad for another week or so but when i do ill give u the results but for now who do u think will win?

 

i forgot to add this will be on hard packed dirt drag for about 400-450 feet

You will definitely spank your friend unless you are not a good rider or something is wrong with the bike. I have an 85 lt250r and I was out this weekend. Spanked a kawi mojave, warrior, 400 ex, and beats my brothers z400. Your 87 will be even faster since it has the powervalve motor and mine doesn't !!!

 

yea the results were just what everyone said...didnt quite make it mickey d's but still killed him pretty bad. unfortunately, the same kid i raced broke his arm a few days ago when his quad flipped over on him so lets just hope he'll come through ok. thnx for the replies
