People will tell you 50 some mph but I have seen 61 mph (GPS) on my warrior and my 85 lt250r is a ton faster! So I'd say upper 60s at the least!

I have read that the stock 85/86 Lt250r goes 53. They were geared really low. But alot of people are saying they go in the upper 60's. I still think it's around 53 STOCK.

I suppose I'll have to run it out with the gps on me. I am not sure about anyone else's but I know that mine is faster than 53 mph. NOt to many mods, no airbox, jetted, dg pipe. Don't know if it is stock gearing or not. I'll have an updated gps top speed after this weekend.

my 86 lt250r is built, and im sure that if a full fmf pipe set will get it to 70-75, then mine should do more than 67. it has stock gearing, cpi in frame drag pipe, dune porting, k&n filter, milled head, 36mm flat slide carb, and all i hit is 67 (gps tested)

Baja226 if your still out there I would be extremely appreciative if you would tell me what your jetting was on your 86 LT, I have the exact same setup and can not get an answer for where I need to start I just don't want to run a brand new motor lean on the first start

My 86 has a stock rear sprocket and a 11tooth front and does 53mph in top of 4th. It is GPS and laser proven on a drag strip. Never had enough distance to hit 5th
